Free workbook · Bring your own AI
A five-year plan for your practice, built with the AI you already use.
A spreadsheet that interviews you. Open it in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or an Excel or Sheets add-in; it asks one question at a time, gives you something useful in the first fifteen minutes, and builds outward from there. No patient data goes in. Nothing connects to us.
What it walks you through
- Quick Win — three tensions, three routes, one next move. Fifteen minutes, no reports needed.
- Practice Map — the handful of facts that could change a decision: authority, panel, payer mix, capacity, constraints.
- Financial First Look — rough estimates or a real P&L, normalized with definitions preserved.
- Opportunity Explorer — follow the money, find hidden capacity, improve care and revenue together, navigate value-based contracts.
- 90-Day Build — one test with a measure and a stop rule.
- 5-Year Plan — the long view, with sources and unknowns kept honest.
Twelve tabs. Every item is labeled confirmed, source-derived, estimate, assumption, or unknown, so you always know what the plan is standing on. It opens with a five-minute safety and compliance checklist — including a rule that no patient rows, claim rows, or credentials ever go in.
How to build your 5-year plan
Start in one minute
-
1. Save the attachment from our email to a drive your practice owns.
-
2. Open a new chat in ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini and drag the file into the message box, or attach it with the + or paperclip button.
-
Read the 1 Journey Dashboard tab and follow its instructions.3. Paste this and press Enter. The workbook takes it from there, one question at a time.
The whole path, once it's open:
- Save your own copy. Put the workbook on a drive your practice owns. The file is the system of record; the chat is not.
- Open it with your AI. Upload it to ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini, or open it in Excel or Google Sheets with an AI add-in. Then say: "Read the 1 Journey Dashboard tab and follow its instructions."
- Get a Quick Win in fifteen minutes. Tab 1 is a five-minute safety check: no patient rows, claim rows, or passwords ever go in. Tab 2 names three tensions, three routes, and one next move.
- Map the practice and the money. Tabs 3 and 4: who decides, panel and payer mix, capacity, and rough finances. Estimates are fine; the workbook labels each number by how sure you are.
- Choose one 90-day test. Tabs 5 to 7 compare routes, including care-management programs and value-based contracts, then turn the best one into a test with a measure and a stop rule.
- Write the plan and keep it current. Tab 8 is the five-year plan. Review results each quarter in tab 9, and save after every session with tab 11 so you can pick up where you left off.
Why a spreadsheet, and why bring your own AI
Because you should own the plan. A workbook on your drive, in a format your accountant and your partners already use, is a system of record. An AI session is not. The workbook tells whichever AI you open it with how to behave — one question at a time, value before homework, label every number by how sure you are — and the AI does the interviewing. When you close the file, you have the plan; we have nothing.
If the plan turns up a question about what your practice is actually collecting versus what it earned, that is the question our billing audit answers.
